ANSI- American National Standards Institute

Among its many other functions, ANSI is one of the primary governing bodies that inspects and approves whether or not a food truck or other mobile food services meet national safety standards. If you operate or plan to operate a food truck you need to pay them a visit.

Though ANSI is a non-profit and not government agency, it is an authority that works with and speaks for the government.
